October 26, 2007: Engine 123 and Tanker 23 responded to a car fire on Friday night. Bystanders attempted to put out the fire, but upon UAFD arrival, the vehicle’s engine compartment was still involved. Firefighters pulled a line and extinguished the blaze in short order. No one was injured.

October 19, 2007: Engine 223 responded to the Borough of Mechanicsburg for a reported bathroom fire. Borough units arrived on scene and reported smoke from the eaves of the structure. Engine 223 prepared to provide water to the scene, however it was not needed. The engine crew assisted with overhaul.

October 19, 2007: Engine 123 responded to a crash on E. Lisburn Rd this morning. It happened in the 300 block, where the driver apparently lost control of his SUV and it flipped on its side. Fortunately, he was not injured. UAFD assisted with debris clean up.

October 17, 2007: Tanker 23 responded into Monroe Township tonight to assist with a house fire. The old farmhouse was unoccupied. Upon arrival, units reported heavy fire and smoke from multiple sides of the building and an exterior attack was initiated. October 13, 2007: Fire Prevention week culminated with an open house today at the station. Members took time to show the younger residents (and their parents) around the firehouse.
