April 22, 2008: UAFDs weekly training focused on RIT operations. The training took place at an acquired structure in the township. Our members perform skills that would be used during a RIT operation or for firefighter survival. The skills practiced were the hang-and-drop, ladder bail out and normal bail out (using personal escape rope).

April 16, 2008: At 5:54pm UAFD was called to assist in Monaghan Twp with a two vehicle accident in the area of 19 North York Rd. Engine 123 (Kremer) arrived on scene and helped with debris clean up and fluid control. UAFD returned to service after about 15 minutes on scene.

April 16, 2008: The UAFD was called to the 600 block of Geneva Drive for a reported apartment fire with entrapment. Chief 123 (Salter) arrived to find PD on scene evacuating apartment units PD also confirmed entrapment and a smoke condition on the 3rd floor. Engine 128 arrived on scene and initiated an attack. April 12, 2008: UAFD was called to assist our neighbors to the south with a house fire early Saturday morning. Engine 223 arrived on scene and began the attack.
