On February 21st, 2015 around 2 AM, UAFD was dispatched to the 1000 block of S. York Street for a single vehicle crash with injury to the driver. Chief 23 arrived on scene to find we had one patient entrapped. Vehicle left the roadway and struck a utility pole before striking the porch of two separate residences. Squad 23 and Rescue 27 arrived and performed rescue operations to removed patient from car. The impact of the crash caused the vehicle to split into two separate pieces. Patient was transported to hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
