January 27, 2016 UAFD was dispatched to 2 Hemlock Dr. in the township for a reported kitchen fire. Chief 23 arrived on scene to find fire coming from Side “A” our the front door and tenant saying everyone is out. Engine 23 arrived and established water supply with hydrant on S. Maket St. Crew lead by Captain 23 (Kunkel) did the 360 and pulled 2 handline to side “A” and “C”. No firefighters injuries.
Chief 23 called for 2nd alarm due to the fact that it was long time for response of mutual aid. Truck 23 and Tanker 23 also assisted on scene.
Crews from 28,27,67,22,12,69,33,31 &13 all were on scene.
