2018 calls

New Tower Ladder Truck

We placed our order for a new tower ladder truck from Glick Fire Equipment out of Lancaster. Maneuverability and operation of this new truck will aid us greatly on calls, as well as give us the added ability to have 210 ft of ground ladders on it.
We anticipate receiving the new truck in early 2023 and will post updates on the build progress as they become available over the next year.
Thanks to the Commissioners and to the Residents of Upper Allen Township who made this all happen so your volunteer department can better serve the community.

Fire Prevention Visit

On Wednesday, October 13th, UAFD visited Country and Town Church Early Learning Center for our annual fire prevention visit. The kids learned fire safety information and got to explore the fire engine.

Donation from Zimmerman’s

Thank you, Zimmerman’s Automotive, for the generous donation! As a part of their 9/11 “Never Forget” event, the fire department was gifted with this check.
We are so grateful for the businesses in our community that support our volunteer department!

Crash At Sinclair & Williams Grove

On the evening of September 11th around 8:15 pm, Squad, Engine, and Traffic 23, along with Duty Chief Shumberger, responded to an auto accident with possible confinement at the intersection of Williams Grove Road and Sinclair Road.  Upon arrival, Duty Chief confirmed there was no confinement, but there was a large debris field with fluids.  Batteries were disconnected in both vehicles, and the roadway was cleaned up. Traffic 29 assisted with traffic control.
