Upper Allen Fire Department encourages everyone to celebrate the holidays. But please, celebrate responsibly, especially where alcohol is involved.
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, nearly four times as many people are killed in alcohol related auto accidents on New Year’s Eve, as compared to other nights of the year.
Please plan ahead and use good judgment by designating a driver, calling a cab, or spending the night.
We stand ready to provide vehicle rescue service on New Year’s Eve – but frankly, we’d really rather not.
