February 6, 2007: Around 21:39 hours the Engine Company and Mechanicsburg units were dispatched for a reported kitchen fire in the Boro of Mechanicsburg at 21 East Allen Street. Engine 223 (Mechling) went responding at dispatch and arrived as the first due Engine. After laying in the crew pulled two lines to find fire in the Side Charlie Division One and Basement wall. Crews opened up and extinguished what fire was found. The Engine returned to service a little over one hour after dispatch.
