June 5, 2007: For weekly training, firefighters took part in a modified version of the Firefighter Combat Challenge. The obstacle course consisted of simulated fire scene activities such as forcible entry, carrying hose and assembly of hose with appliances. In the individual time trials, Jimmy Grundon finished with the fastest time, followed closely by Jamie Mechling. In the 2 person team event, Jimmy Grundon paired up with Ryan Kunkel to finish first. Other participants included Ray Ewing, Shelly Latsha, Rich McGill, Cameron Wilkinson and Tom Shumberger. Thanks to all who participated and we look forward to a rematch in the near future
