August 28, 2007: For training, the department went to the acquired structure to review some basic skills. Topics reviewed included SCBA emergency use, navigation through narrow spaces and recognition of a firefighter in distress. We’ve recruited several new volunteers recently and this was a good learning experience for them, as well as a refresher for the more seasoned firefighters.
