September 4, 2007: UAFD members participated in weekly department training in which the topic was vehicle rescue. We received a few cars and we created a simulation using smoke and victims. Engine 123 responded with a full crew and performed the extrication with Captain Kris Kaminski as the incident commander. Following the exercise, additional hands-on time was afforded to each member in attendance.
