September 6, 2007: Just after 1300 hours Truck 23 was dispatched with other York County units for a barn fire in the area of the 1000 block of School House Lane. While responding, the Truck was met with a large thermal column in the distance and units arriving on scene found a fully involved barn. Tanker 23 was added when Command 68 requested a second alarm. The Truck arrived as the second due Truck and staged on the main road and sent manpower back to assist with opening up for the Engine Companies. The Truck remained on scene for about 2 hours before returning to service while the Tanker remained on scene and hauled a total of four loads of water.
