October 13, 2007: Fire Prevention week culminated with an open house today at the station. Members took time to show the younger residents (and their parents) around the firehouse. There was even a special visit from Sparky. Everyone got a chance to see the apparatus and equipment, enjoy some snacks and take home lots of fire department goodies. The company would like to thank everyone who came out to tour the station. For those who couldn’t make it today, we hope to see you at December’s open house when a special fat fellow in a red suit will be there!
