September 30, 2007: Around 1630 hours the UAFD and Company 33 were dispatched for a reported vehicle fire on the PA Turnpike in the area of MM 235. Shortly after dispatch the mile marker was updated to 242 in Fairview Twp. Company 33 was placed available and Engine 123 diverted to that location. Engine 123 arrived on scene to find a well involved sport utility vehicle and pulled a line. Crews knocked the fire down and proceeded to overhaul the vehicle. The Engine returned to service around 1730 hours.
