October 2, 2007: Around 0620 hours the UAFD and Engine 24 were dispatched for an unknown type fire outside in the area of Kliendinst Rd. and Lisburn Rd. Chief 123 went in the area with a thermal column present and upon further investigation found a well involved vehicle about 300 feet off the roadway in a field. Engine 223 arrived on scene and stretched the 300’ line through the field and proceeded to make a quick knockdown on the well involved vehicle. Crews from Tanker 23 and Engine 24 assisted with stretching the line and overhauling the vehicle. Units cleared the scene in around 0700.
