The members of the Upper Allen Fire Department were working to make sure everyone has a Thanksgiving meal. In cooperation with the Wildcat Foundation, we have been working on a canned food drive to help our local Upper Allen Township family. On Sunday November 23rd, members went to Giant Food and had people help with supporting the food drive. We also sent a crew into local neighborhoods to collect canned food items. You can see from the pictures above it was a great success. We have put more than 22 Thanksgiving Day meals together and had plenty of extra to spare. The members would like to thank each and every person that helped us. We could have not have done it without the generous donations from residents and everyone that bought extra groceries at Giant and gave them to us.
