December 28, 2008: As the holiday season wraps up, we offer one last tip from the U.S. Fire Administration. “Never put tree branches or needles in a fireplace or woodburning stove. When the tree beomes dry, discard it promptly. The best way to dispose of your tree is by taking it to a recycling center or having it hauled away by a community pick-up service.”
The UAFD wishes to thank everyone who helped support us this year by purchasing a tree. Additionally, we appecriate the community support for our food drive for those in need. We were able to gather enough food to feed several families this season. We salute you, the residents of Upper Allen Township!
