March 29, 2009: Around 1520 hours the UAFD along with Companies 27, 28 and 33 were dispatched for a reported vehicle fire in a garage. Chief 23 arrived on scene to confirm the initial call and fire beginning to extend into the garage. Engine 223 arrived on scene shortly after the Chief and deployed an attack line. The crew was able to quickly knock down the fire before it extended to the garage. The crew from Truck 23 performed a primary search of the residence and checked for extension which both proved negative. All units returned to service around 1640.
