March, 2 2010 UAFD members attended weekly training and this week was on RIT Operations. Members first did an overview of all the skills and tools needed to perform RIT Operation on a scene of calls. After the overview members got a chance to perform these skills with some hands on. During this drill members reviewed the downed firefighter and how to manage his air and how to help with assistance of the RIT pack. Thanks to all members that attended this training.
** During the training night Engine 223 was sent to Station #35 for a transfer for about 1.5 hours.
