December 17, 2010 UAFD was called to the 500 block of W. Winding Hill Rd. for a report vehicle accident with entrapment. Chief 23 arrived on scene and confirmed entrapment with (2) patients in vehicle air medical was requested at that time. Engine 123 arrived with Rescue 27 and started with the extrication. Command 23 asked for additional help and Rescue 28 was also sent to the scene to assist with operations. The air medical was also called to the scene and Engine 25 was called to handle the LZ at the scene. One of the air medical units was from Hagerstown Md. And the other was called in from the Reading area. Crews worked on the scene for about 2 hour’s total. It was good team work from all units on scene including fire police.
