November 20, 2012 UAFD along with New Kingsown and Monroe Fire Departments came together and did some RIT training. With all 3 departments a total of 31 firefighters performed a RIT drill at Cocciardi and Associates, Inc. training building in Upper Allen Township. The drill was to rescue 3 downed firefighters from a basement. It was nice job done by all departments and shows the progress made from our training on RIT with all 3 departments. Another round of training upcoming with us working with Cumberland County 911 for radio operations and also working on a SOG/SOP for RIT operations that all 3 will use.
