PPG for Building Fire

January, 29 2013  UAFD was called to respond with Truck 23 to transfer to Mt. Holly Co. #36 while they worked a building fire at PPG Glass.  After command called for 2nd alarms our Engine 123 was called for RIT to the scene to help with Co. #33.  Engine 123 went with 4 over the North side (Co#33 worked South) and supplied RIT for Co. #25, Co.#45 & Co.#28.  RIT was never needed and was put in service after being on scene for 1.5hrs.  Truck 23 remained on standby till Co.#36 was back and cleaned up.
