The 2013 Cumberland County Volunteer Firefighter’s Association Convention is being held by the Citizens Fire & Rescue No. 2, Washington Fire Company No.1 and Upper Allen Township Fire Company 2013.

PARADE REGISTRATION/JUDGING/STAGING INFORMATION SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 14TH, 2013

Registration will be from 8:30 am till 12:00 pm at the Upper Allen Twp. Fire Station, 104 Gettysburg Pike, Mechanicsburg, Pa 17055 located off Route 15 (across from Hoss’s).

Pre-Parade Judgeing will begin promptly at 9:00 am at the Upper Allen Twp Fire Station.

Pre-Parade Staging (after registration and judging) will be at the Northside Elementary School, 411 North Walnut Street, Mechanicsburg, Pa 17055.

Sounding of air horns and or sirens witin the parade staging area will disqualify the eintire organization in the competition of awards UNLESS responding to an emergency call.

PARADE ROUTE INFORMATION

The Parade will move promptly at 2:00 pm.

The parade route is as follows: Parade starts at the intersection of Schoolside Drive and North Walnut Street. The parade will then proceed south on Walnut Street to East Main Street continuing West on Main Street to North York Street. From York Street it will proceed North to Heinz Street. Apparatus can be parked at the warehouse across from the Mechanicsburg Club.

AWARDS/AFTER PARADE INFORMATION

Food & Alcohlic Refreshments will be served upon completion of the Parade at the Mechanicsburg Club, 333 Heinz St, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055. (Wristbands will be required on all Apparatus Drivers. ID may also be required.)

Parade Awards will be announced at or before 5:00 pm.
