June 8, 2009: Just before 1930 hours the Engine Company was dispatched to a reported garage fire in the Boro of Mechanicsburg. Engine 223 responded and arrived to find Mechanicsburg units making an attack on a detached garage. The crew from the engine assisted first arriving units with fire attack. About half an hour into the incident the second engine was dispatched to assist at the fire. Engine 123 responded shortly after dispatch and once on scene assisted with overhaul of the garage. Both engines operated until around 2100 hours before they were released by Command 8.
