On March 31st, UAFD was called to the on-ramp from PA Turnpike to Rt. 15 South for a fuel leak from a tractor-trailer. When Squad 23 arrived it was found that a metal bar punctured the saddle tank. The crew used a plugging kit along with other hazmat tools to mitigate the diesel fuel. We were assisted by our Fire Police. UAFD units cleared about 20 minutes after arriving on the scene.
